South Windsor officials pushed off adoption of marijuana regulations Tuesday after a local farmer asked for changes allowing him to grow recreational and medical marijuana on his family’s 150-year-old farm.
“We are looking at this as another opportunity for another source of revenue to keep the farm open and pass it on to generations to come,” said Bruce Snow, of Well Flowers Farm on Strong Road.

The industrially zoned property at 1518 John Fitch Blvd., hosts four buildings totaling 33,900 square feet, including large refrigerated and freezer sections. Gordon Holdings LLC sold it to REAG 1518 JFB LLC in a sale recorded Dec. 16.

South Windsor-based plumbing fixture wholesaler Halstead and Associates paid $1.3 million in November to buy its 24,000-square-foot headquarters.
The 25-year-old company began leasing the industrial building at 330 Nutmeg Road five years ago, according to Jeralyn Halstead, the company’s office manager. Halstead & Associates employs nine, she said.
“It just made more sense,” Halstead said of the purchase. ....
