Briefs: Marion water main flushing update Marion Star Water main flushing continues  MARION - Aqua Ohio’s Marion Division will conduct water main flushing in the Marion County service area between 8 a.m. and midnight Monday through Friday. Customers may notice a drop in water pressure or temporary water discoloration. If possible, customers should refrain from doing laundry to avoid potential staining while the flushing is taking place near their home. If tap water is discolored, allow it to run until clear. Marion Police Report South Seffner Avenue Homicide

Jan 19, 2021 UPDATE! At approximately 1:45pm on January 21, 2021, Ziair E. Green turned himself over to police custody at the Marion Police Department and was subsequently transported to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Facility. Formal court proceedings will be forthcoming and there are no further details to release at this time. On January 18, 2021 around 10:41 p.m., officers from the Marion Police Department responded to the 120 block of South Seffner Avenue for a reported shooting call. Upon their arrival, they found 43-year-old Ricco D. McGhee who had been shot and seriously injured. McGhee was transported to Marion General Hospital where he died from his injury.
