HOLMDEL - A place to fill your car up with gas and grab a cup of coffee is proposed for the corner of South Laurel Avenue and Middle Road.
A developer wants to build a Conoco fuel station along with a 19 Express convenience store on the property where Olympic Tire and Auto Center now stands. The proposal is on Wednesday night s agenda of the township Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Plans call for the demolition of Olympic s one-story building and garage. The property s gravel parking lot would be removed, if approved.

HAZLET – A family in search of a better life believed they obtained that dream when they purchased a South Laurel Avenue home in September of 2019.
Drawn to the Township by the strength of its school district, a lush parks system and a family-oriented environment, Michelle Marinak, her husband Michael, and their two children Angela, 16, and Aiden, 8, saw their vision of the future threatened just five months after closing on the property when a controversial site plan proposal for a New Jersey Natural Gas Regulator station was brought before the Township Land Use Board.
