A man who was shot at Zolezzi Park has died, San Jose police said on Wednesday, bringing this year's homicide count to 11 and marking the third homicide this week.

San Jose police Friday morning arrested a man in an East San Jose neighborhood after he fired at officers responding to reports of a shooting, according to the police department.
Officers responded at about 4:25 a.m. to the area of Lynette Way and Duffy Way on reports of a man firing a gun on the street corner, and when they arrived, the suspect shot at them, police said.
A search for the gunman ensued, and he was taken into custody around 9:15 a.m., police said.
No injuries were immediately reported.
Police shut down streets in the area, including parts of South King Road and San Antonio Street, and advised residents to shelter in place during the search.
