Knowing that visibility is going to be aok. A look outside at our quick Tower Cam this morning does show you that shine and pretty brightly on Coit Tower right there. Definitely no low fog. At least to obscure it. We do have Air Quality. Thats a bit more moderate than yesterday. We saw some of that poor Air Swinging back from the north into the region late yesterday. It wasnt. How did have a huge impact on us. But just enough to return much of the Bay Area. Back to that moderate level of Air Quality not enough to be much of an issue. In and around South Lake Tahoe are spending yet another anxious night, hoping and praying firefighters can hold the lights. Crews have been doing a remarkable job so far protecting communities. This week near where the destructive Counter Fire is burning. It is burning as we speak tonight and the fire is only about 3 miles south of the recently evacuated South Lake Tahoe area which has been a Ghost Town now since late monday. Good evening, everybody. And here is a look now at the latest numbers from calfire. This fire has burned more than 207,000 acres it is 23 contained and nearly 600 homes have been destroyed. of america were recently hijacked. michelle found out while pumping gas. i was able to pump $9.50 and then the pump stopped. reporter: she called the number on the back of her debit card and got a rude surprise. s budget set i was locked out. reporter: surprise turned to shock when she finally got to bank of america s fraud department. they were able to confirm that the email on the account was not mine. reporter: the routing number was not her routing number. it was the fraudsters. they had removed my bank account info. and replaced their own information. reporter: someone had hijacked her account and stolen everything in it, $7500. the same thing happened to linda. she found out when she went online to pay a bill. it was at zero and i knew something was wrong immediately. reporter: she says after hours, on the phone, to file a claim, a bank employee confirmed her worst fear. a fraudster was impersonating her and had drained $3000 from her account. this p
a very good morning to you. thanks so much for joining us this monday morning. i m laura garcia. we went on an extra 30 minutes early this morning at 4:00 a.m. just because of this red flag warning. i m kris sanchez in for marcus washington. we are seeing some vegetation fires pop up overnight. kari hall is watching those winds. and the high fire danger will continue throughout this morning as we ve seen the high wind gusts especially in our upper elevations and the wind advisory will expire at 11:00 but the rest of the day will be breezy as we see the winds gusting for even our valleys up to 50 miles an hour. this red flag warning will continue for today. up until tomorrow morning so we re still looking at breezy winds and some very dry air. we ll continue to monitor that and talk about what s ahead in our forecast coming up. mike, how is it looking driving to work this morning? kari, your system and my system are map share data as we look at the maps for traffic data,
