South Philly Review Studio 1935 moves into Bok Building An award-winning music and recording studio has a new home in South Philadelphia. Studio 1935, which was created by Pete Rydberg more than 20 years ago, has relocated to the Bok Building at 1901 S. 9th St. The studio is known for providing original music and sound design for brands and agencies and offering production, engineering, mixing and mastering services for musicians. It was formerly located at 1835 S. Bancroft St. near the intersection of 16th and McKean streets before recently moving less than a mile east, to the East Passyunk neighborhood. The new studio will enjoy 1,800 square feet, including a 76-foot wall of windows, which provide scenic views of the city, while offering music clients state-of-the-art recording features.
