Peters Valley Craft Gallery chooses annual competition winners

SANDYSTON In a virtual reception, Peters Valley Craft Gallery announced the winners of its 11th annual high school student art competition.
Taking the Best of Show award was Kaitlyn Czifra of Wallkill Valley Regional High School for her work titled  Reckoning . Second place was awarded to Sophia Papadopoulo of Blair Academy for her My Imperfect Cracks sculpture.
The annual show features two- and three-dimensional artwork by students in grades 9-12 from participating schools in northern New Jersey and adjacent areas of Pennsylvania and New York.
Third place was awarded to Kevin Dau from Sparta High School for an installation titled Chasing the Dream, while Cameron Minetti, also from Sparta High School received honorable mention for the stone sculpture, Infinity.   ....
