Lightning storms peppered our region. Erica martine is in with us this morning and she has the details. We have much chillier temperatures in the works for this upcoming weekend. Yesterdays high temperature, 293 degrees. Officially the first heat wave of this year, 2017. We hit 91 on wednesday, 93 on thursday and 93 on friday. Today, much different. Were seeing only upper 60s as our expected high temperatures. But right now, Doppler Radar picking up on some isolated showers moving through parts of the delaware valley. We were seeing a pocket of showers moving through parts of allentown and just to the west of reading, some showers moving in from west to east. This is not going to be a washout, but we do have some moisture in the atmosphere, so be mindful of that. Keep the umbrella hand yy. Right now were seeing temperatures in the upper 60s.
