President Bola Tinubu has approved the removal of the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Solomon Arase. Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Tinubu, confirmed this in a statement on Monday, adding that Tinubu approved the appointment of DIG Hashimu Argungu (Rtd) as the new chairman of the commission replacing Arase.
