In an advisory, Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal said all classes in the elementary and high school levels, whether modular or face-to-face, and in both public and private institutions, as well as government work, are suspended. "The City Disaster and Climate Change Resilience Council declared the suspension due to the anticipated heavy traffic which might be caused by a large public rally scheduled on May 6, 2022," he said. Rosal added, however, that the suspension will not apply to those who are in the Incident Management Team, maintenance of peace and order, disaster risk management, health and sanitation, and performance of vital services.
