A Maoist carrying a bounty of Rs one lakh on his head was arrested on Monday in Sukma district in Chhattisgarh.

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old, who is allegedly associated with Communist Party of India (Maoist), was arrested by Bhadradri-Kothagudem police on Friday as he was in possession of explosives.
Kothagudem police said that Sodi Deva was involved in seven criminal cases targeting security personnel and political leaders. Five detonators, 20 gelatine sticks and wires were recovered from his possession. Police said Deva’s activities were mostly restricted to Chhattisgarh.
Police said the seized explosives were supposed to be used by the accused to target security forces. tnn
