Oregon Health Authority director loses school board chair

Sherwood School Board Chair Patrick Allen will be replaced by Duncan Nyang oro, early returns show.
Duncan Nyang oro topped longtime incumbent Sherwood School Board Chair Patrick Allen in early results posted by the Washington County Elections Office on Tuesday evening, May 18.
Nyang oro had 53.8% percent of the vote compared to Allen with 45.9%, initial elections results showed after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Allen who also serves as the director of the Oregon Health Authority has spent a year in the headlines as the agency has redrawn the rules of public life during the COVID-19 pandemic. ....
