The government has approved the investment plans proposed by 23 companies for 19 of the 32 islands in Preah Sihanouk province. The firms intend to develop the islands as tourist sites with hotels and other resorts to attract domestic and international tourists.
Approximately 500 people participated in the clean-up of Ochheuteal Beach in Preah Sihanouk province for the “Clean and Green Cambodia” event, which aimed to inspire people and businesses to maintain a clean environment to attract tourists in advance of the upcoming sea festival in December.
