Life is getting back to normal and for those of us who enjoy a fine cigar with friends, that means cigar events are coming back to Lubbock at Smokers Haven.
Smokers Haven has already had a few events this year, but this one just feels like it will be different. With good weather expected and more and more people willing to get out and enjoy life.
On Thursday, May 20th Smokers Haven will welcome Perdomo Cigars and Perdomo Pat for their big cigar event. If you ve never been to a cigar event and you are a cigar smoker, you are really missing out. The Perdomo Cigar event begins at 4 p.m. and goes until at least 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 20. ....

Legislators introduce a new bill that would ban all flavored tobacco products sales in Maine
Supporters of the bill argued flavored products attract kids. Opponents say Maine would create a black market for these products and lose revenue if it is passed.

AUGUSTA, Maine In a virtual hearing Friday, members of the Maine Legislature s Committee on Health and Human Services introduced a bill that would ban the sale of all tobacco-flavored products, including flavored cigars and electronic cigarettes in the state. 
The bill, presented by State Representative Michele Meyer (D- Eliot), drew support from other lawmakers on the committee, public health advocates, and young adults who spoke from their own experiences with nicotine addiction. ....
