The total number of arrests was 55 last week, 18 of which were arrested by Bowie County Deputies, while 37 were brought in by other law enforcement agencies and turned over to Bowie County.

There were 27 people arrested by BCSO last week, and 49 people were arrested by law enforcement agencies other than BCSO which were turned over to Bowie County. There seems to be a lot of inmates getting caught with Prohibited Substances or Items in a Correctional Facility this past week. We're sure it happens all the time, but there sure are a lot getting caught red-handed lately.
