Isolated Flooding Occurring Across Parts of East Texas Tonight A Flash Flood Watch continues across all of East Texas until 7 am on Thursday. Numerous showers and thunderstorms continue to develop and move across the Highway 59 and Highway 69 corridors tonight. In fact, a Flash Flood Warning is in effect for all of Cherokee and Smith Counties until 12:15 tonight. Residents in Tyler, Whitehouse, Jacksonville, Rusk as well as Alto should be on the look out for the possibility of heavy rain and localized flooding, especially around streams and creeks. Severe weather also continues to be a threat across the Pineywoods. Earlier this evening, a line of severe storms to our southwest produced tornado warnings for areas around Schulenburg and La Grange. Those cells have continued to produce severe weather as they have move across the Houston Metroplex. Four to seven inches of overnight rain is possible in some areas around Houston, especially to the south of the of I-1 ....
