AURORA, Colo. With the arrival of a pandemic last year and very limited social gatherings, block parties seemed like a thing of the past. This summer however, life is starting to feel a little more normal and the return of block parties in the neighborhood could become a reality for some residents in Aurora.
In an effort to support neighborhood activities that promote sustainable neighborhood groups and the creation of strong neighborhood connections, the Aurora Housing and Community Services Department announced on Tuesday the launch of a neighborhood grant program that will consist of three mini-grant opportunities for its residents.
