Sligo TD says it is unacceptable the county vaccination centre closed over Easter Published: Saturday, 10 April 2021 12:26 It is unacceptable that the Sligo Vaccination Centre was closed for four days over the Easter bank holiday weekend. That’s the view of Fianna Fail TD Marc MacSharry, who argues that the facility at IT Sligo should be open seven days a week to assist with the delivery of the vaccine rollout. Deputy MacSharry has raised the issue with his party colleagues, the Taoiseach Micheal Martin and the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly and says he is still awaiting answers.
