The annual convention of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann will take place in Sligo for the first time this weekend. The convention, or Comhaltas Congress, will take place at the Clayton Hotel in Sligo between Friday - Sunday 3rd-5th May and will feature a number of interesting lectures, discussions and musical performances throughout the weekend that are free to the public.

The Sligo winners of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 have been honoured with a reception by Sligo County Council hosted by the Cathaoirleach Councillor Gerard Mullaney which took place last Friday.
