They must complete 30 days of a Work Release Program and Serve Community service. They must also pay a 600 fee. Theyre placed on two years of court probation. The third student received the same sentence, minus the weekend work. The students were all roommates at a campus dorm in 2013, in addition to the bike lock defend, the three candidates who are white are accused of scrawling racist messages, and calling the victim racist names.
