Pfizer Delivers Over 3.8 Million Covid Vaccine Doses to Hungary
Pfizer has supplied more than 3.8 million doses of its Covid vaccine to Hungary so far, the pharmaceutical company’s Hungarian branch told MTI.
The 23rd consignment delivered on Tuesday contained 330,000 doses of Comirnaty developed in partnership with BioNTech, Pfizer Gyógyszerkereskedelmi said in a statement.
A total of 1.3 million doses was delivered to Hungary in the month of May alone, it said.
Hungary is the only European Union country that has decided to not take part in the next phase of vaccine procurement organized by the EU; therefore, the country will not receive any further Pfizer vaccine doses in the future.
