KUALA LUMPUR: Many part-time media practitioners as well as those working on their own do not have social security protection, said Social Security Organisation (Socso) self-employment injury scheme division head Mohamad Haron Othman.
Due to overwhelming response, the Karnataka government plans to open 29 more Karnataka Public Schools (KPS) in Mysuru district for the academic year 2024-25. The success of KPS, which offers an integrated education approach from kindergarten to PU education, has led to demands for more such institutions from parents, students, and elected representatives. The features of KPS, such as smart boards, well-equipped libraries, laboratory facilities, and CCTV surveillance, are attracting students.
