First Bradford patients and staff get Covid-19 vaccine at BRI | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

The first Covid-19 vaccinations have been given at Bradford Royal Infirmary, starting with health professionals and some of the oldest and most vulnerable patients.
One of the first to have the vaccination in the district was 85-year-old William Drake, a retired engineering supervisor from Clayton, Bradford, who said the experience had been dead easy .
He said: It went very well. No problems whatsoever. Dead easy. A small scratch and done.
Asked why he thought it was important to have the jab, he said: To fight the Covid and beat it so that everybody can be safe and have a normal living. ....

Coronavirus vaccinations to start in Skipton next week

CORONAVIRUS vaccinations are due to get underway in Craven next week, it has been revealed.
Vaccinations will take place at Skipton Hospital on Tuesday (December 15) for an initial period of three days and will be repeated in three weeks time.
Speaking at the online meeting of Craven District Council s Crime and Disorder Committee on Wednesday, Craven s new police Inspector, Steve Breen, said he was due to meet with NHS officials to carry out a security survey to make sure everything was in order.
He told the meeting: The Craven site will be Skipton Hospital and there will be three days of vaccinations starting on Tuesday with the days repeated in three weeks time. ....
