it s super fun! but this is still a rare sight. this past season the national ski areas association says that 89% of visitors to u.s. ski areas identified as white. a problem then finley and art clay set out to solve half a century ago. starting the national brotherhood skiers to advocate for greater representation and winter sports, and dispel the idea that black people don t ski. we are skiers who happened to be black. people sometimes get us confused. oh you two black people who happened to ski. no! we are skiers who happened to be black. every year they bring thousands of black skiers together. what we try to do is make it all a party! you know, just let s we are having a party, why don t you try on some of the skis!
