Springfield offers COVID vaccines Friday at Greenleaf Community Center in Sixteen Acres

SPRINGFIELD The city is providing the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine on Friday at the Greenleaf Community Center in Sixteen Acres as part of its neighborhood outreach program.
Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris announced that appointments can be made through the city’s website for the COVID-19 vaccination site, also known as the Clodo Concepcion Community Center. The center is at 1187½ Parker St., behind the Sixteen Acres Library.
“These neighborhood vaccination sites continue my administration’s commitment to making the COVID-19 vaccine as readily available to our residents as possible,” Sarno said in a statement. ....
