The Cebu City Council has directed SBD Builders, the contractor behind the rubberized track oval of Cebu City Sports Center , to explain why it should not be blacklisted from taking on city projects, following the delays in the completion of projects it was awarded with.

+ February 13, 2021 A private real estate developer is building a 10-story condominium in Sitio Candarong in Barangay Pulangbato, Cebu City.
According to the news report, the project will benefit retired police and military personnel.
Barangay Captain Marlene Macua said they gave Kit Properties Inc. the go-signal to proceed because all its papers were in order.
“Sa way duha-duha, kay wa man ta’y complainant sa mga yuta, sakto man sila sa documents, ang barangay nihatag og resolution nga makaproceed na sila,” Macua said.
(There were no claimants to the land where the building would stand and all their documents were in order so the barangay didn’t have any second thoughts passing a resolution allowing the developer to proceed with the project.)
