Rescuers efforts ongoing to locate 24 missing residents of Sumedang 13th January 2021 (ANTARA/Bagus Ahmad Rizaldi) Bandung, W Java (ANTARA) - Local rescue workers on Wednesday continued their attempts to locate 24 residents still missing in the aftermath of landslides that hit Cihanjuang Village, Cimanggung Sub-district, Sumedang District, West Java, on January 9, 2021. The search and rescue operation was started at 7:30 a.m. local time by focusing on a settlement area, house of worship, and volleyball court, Bandung s Search and Rescue (SAR) Agency Head, Deden Ridwansyah, revealed. The number of those reportedly still missing as a result of the landslides increased, from 23 to 24, after the Sawah Dadap Public Health Center received a report of one other missing resident on Tuesday, he stated. ....
