IPOH: The past year has seen an unprecedented shattering of norms and things we took for granted.
For a businessman here, who wished to be known only as Andy, it meant two cancelled flights and the missed opportunity to see his parents in Singapore.
“I underestimated the duration of the movement control order. A lot of things have changed during that period, ” he said.
Andy was recounting how the pandemic had affected him since Malaysia announced its first few Covid-19 cases on Jan 25 last year.
The infections involved three Chinese nationals who had entered Malaysia via Johor from Singapore on Jan 23.
