and the things she s able to do with trained support. - it sjust wonderful- to be able to have that. but in adulthood, you know, i ld like to think that she s . going to be able to live - independently with support and, you know, maybe even have a job of some sort or some activity- that is meaningful for her, - and that we don t sit injudgment on the quality of her life in a way| that i think actually does damage to the whole issue of autism. and disability more generally. i think we can do that, . but we are going to need, through the autism strategy, - and through the accommodation, the housing issue that is being addressed in the social care i white paper, we really need to focus on that. l because in the big social care debate, we naturally talk- about elderly people, - but we never properly talk
