school near the border, and being taken to its sister school in ukraine. that school has now turned into a makeshift refugee shelter. now, the two schools have long deep ties. they were cultivated by an american company, shipping company, ups, when the war began. the ukrainians reached out for help and they quickly assembled 60 pallets of goods. i sat down with the polish head masters this morning leading the charge here. they say this war has strengthened the bond of these two sister schools and also teaching their students sometimes as young as six years old a very valuable lesson. we decided to provide support to our children s peers on the ukrainian side in order to show the children that in such cases it is necessary to show empathy and help the refugees.
