Last week I penned an article on the Ratu Filise Rugby Club which has produced renowned players like the Batibasaga brothers Asaeli, Ilikimi and Isimeli, the Tuqiri brothers Lote Tuqiri Sr and Tukula Tuqiri, the late Viliame Tani, Mesake Seavula, Noa Nadruka, Luke Erenavula, Isei Nasiganiyavi, Etuate Honda Gusuivalu, Keleto Loboilagi, Mesake Rasari, the late Temesia Kaumaia, Etuate Waqa and Aminiasi Naituyaga, Sakaraia Labalaba, Sovita Nagatagata, Sirilo Lala, Lote Tuqiri, Etika Tovilevu, Peniasi Damu, Leveni Vatureba, Fero Lasagivabau, Sailosi Rabo, Joeli Lutumailagi, George Ali, Eparama Navale and Amenoni Nasilasila.

Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has revealed the possibility of including some Flying Fijians in the national side to defend the Olympics rugby gold medal in Japan next year.
Baber, yesterday said it would depend on the players’ clubs, especially those playing in Europe.
“I know they are fully back into their season in Europe, they just had some international,” Baber said.
“I know there would be a lot of pressure on them, but the window is at the back end of next May and June.
