The original Clangers was produced by Smallfilms for the BBC A host of VoD platforms in China, including iQiyi and Tencent Video, have bought UK preschool series Clangers. Under a deal struck between children’s entertainment company Coolabi Group, which owns the rights to Clangers, and China’s Fantawild Animation, the show is now available on iQiyi, Tencent Video, Youku, Mango TV, NewTV, BesTV, GITV, Sino Media and Prosee. Clangers is a stop-motion animated show about a family of pink, mouse-like creatures who live on a Little Blue Planet and communicate in whistles.
