ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਬੱਲੜਵਾਲ ’ਚ ਅੱਜ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਧੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ’ਚ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਜਰਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਧੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗੁੱਸੇ ’ਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਂਜ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੰਜਿ਼ਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ।
