Petrobras Orders Seventh FPSO for Buzios Field

Brazilian oil company Petrobras has ordered an FPSO from Singapore s Keppel Shipyard, in what will be the seventh FPSO unit installed in the Búzios field, in the Santos Basin.
The FPSO, to be named P-78, will have a processing capacity of 180 thousand barrels of oil per day and 7.2 million cubic meters of gas per day. Keppel is expected to deliver the FPSO in late 2024. Keppel said that the value of the order was $2.3 billion.
Keppel O&M will build the topside modules weighing 43,000 metric tonnes (MT) at its shipyards in Singapore, China, and Brazil, as well as undertake the integration and commissioning works of the FPSO. ....

Russia’s Gazprom Neft said that the country’s first cargo and passenger ship-to-ship LNG-bunkering vessel has been set afloat.

In its statement, Gazprom Neft added that the shipyard completed the main stage in the vessel’s construction, including assembling the hull and installing LNG fuel tanks and other auxiliary systems, in record time.
The vessel has been moved to dock for final installation of navigation systems and controls, and installation of key equipment rooms.
Sea trials are planned for spring 2021.

Russia’s Gazprom Neft said the construction of the country’s first LNG bunkering vessel progressed with the installation of storage tanks and other cryogenic equipment.

The company noted that the vessel will provide transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the ports of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Primorsk and others in the Baltic Sea.
Recently the vessel was equipped with two LNG cargo tanks at Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard. Each tank has a 2,900-cbm capacity, for the vessel’s total of 5,800 cubic meters. ....
