Fire fighters are now entering an eighth day of battling the thomas fire. It is the largest blaze in ventura and Santa Barbara counties, now scorching 230,000 acres and is only 10 contained. One official calling it the most taxing fire he has ever seen. Ferocious santa ana winds continue driving the flames triggering power surges and temporary outages for tens of thousands of customers.
