A Supreme Court judge has questioned whether Fred Nile’s Christian Democratic Party should be wound up as an ongoing legal dispute resulted in locks being changed at the party’s state headquarters, keeping out Mr Nile and his co-defendants.
Internal conflict within the party was revealed in September when party treasurer Charles Knox launched legal action against Mr Nile, his wife and others, accusing them of invalidly claiming more than $100,000 in party funds for their own benefit, according to court documents. ....
