A cloudburst and subsequent flash flood in the Teesta river basin in India have resulted in 14 deaths, with 102 others, including 22 army personnel, reported missing. Over 2,000 people have been rescued, and the state government has set up 26 relief camps. Approximately 3,000 tourists are believed to be stranded in different parts of the state. The flood has caused severe damage to infrastructure, including bridges, water pipelines, sewage lines, and houses. Power projects in the area have also been affected.
