At the Shenandoah County School Board Meeting March 9, the board approved the appointment of Jennifer Burner as principal of Honey Run Elementary School (Quicksburg, Virginia) and Scott Schlentner as
Ryan Lingle will serve as acting principal at Peter Muhlenberg Middle School in Woodstock effective Jan. 1, according to a news release from Shenandoah County Public Schools.
Lingle will replace Cynthia Herr, who will retire on Jan. 1 after 32 years of service in the division. Ms. Herr has been a strong and steady leader in Shenandoah County Public Schools, Johnston stated in the release. She puts her colleagues at ease and never asks anyone to do something she is not willing to do herself. She will be missed greatly.
Lingle is the assistant principal at Signal Knob Middle School in Strasburg. He has been an assistant principal in the division for seven years, five of which were at W.W. Robinson Elementary School in Woodstock.
