Manawatū's Sian Ruck rips through Taranaki in Shrimpton Trophy win

The win means Manawatū are still in with a chance to win the Shrimpton Trophy, but will need to beat leaders Hawke’s Bay in Palmerston North on Sunday.
Ruck’s second spell devastated the Taranaki innings after they made a strong start. Ruck took an early wicket, but then Taranaki were 84-1 and 137-3 and looked to be building a big total.
Once Taranaki danger women Aimee Wisnewski (50) and Kelsey Husband (42) were gone, they lost their last seven wickets for 44 runs.
“We got some key wickets which slowed them up a wee bit,” Ruck said. ....
