Round Rock Council Member Matt Baker faces opponent for Place 3 seat


Matthew Baker is seeking his second term as the Place 3 member of the Round Rock City Council, and is being challenged by political newcomer Janneke Parrish.
In the other Round Rock council race, Tina Steiner is running against Kristin Stevens for the Place 5 seat. The winners of the May 1 election will serve a three-year term. Early voting begins Monday and will run through April 27. 
In the Place 4 race, Baker, a 52-year-old realtor, said his highest priority is keeping Round Rock the great city it is today.
