KÖLN (dpa-AFX) - Ein rollender Kiosk ohne Fahrer und Verkäufer: Rewe und Vodafone
testen seit Mittwoch in Köln den nach Angaben der Unternehmen europaweit ersten autonom fahrenden Kiosk . Das Snackmobil soll im Kölner Gewerbecampus Carlswerk Passanten und Büroarbeiter auf Wunsch mit Snacks, Süßigkeiten und Getränken versorgen. Wir bringen autonome Fahrzeuge vom Testgelände ins echte Leben , sagte Vodafone-Deutschland-Chef Hannes Ametsreiter anässlich des Projektstarts.
Das Snackmobil soll den Gewerbecampus im Carlswerk nach der Startphase von 10 bis 16 Uhr in einer Dauerschleife abfahren. Gelenkt wird das sechs Kilometer schnelle Fahrzeug dabei von Kameras, Sensoren und moderner Mobilfunktechnik, die als virtuelles Schienennetz dient. Droht sich sein Weg mit dem von Passanten zu kreuzen, hält das Fahrzeug automatisch an. Zur Sicherheit ....
