Maybe but we had something else in mind. Something as quintessentially 1950s as a hot rod or a pony tail.

Even grammatically, it s memorable. An adjective in noun s clothing.
We do not say we want a A Fermented, A Carbonated, or A Toasted. But a Malted Milkshake is, and forever will be, A Malted.
Or will it?

Despite the fact that Malteds, and the soda fountains that served them, are a key piece of 50s mythology, despite the fact that Happy Days, Archie, and Scooby Doo all had malt shops as key settings, despite the innumerable TV record offers and music cruises with nostalgic names like Malt Shop Memories, an actual Malted is not always easy to come by these days.
