The gun safety community would like to see. even things that senator murky and senator cornyn are discussing are modest. red flag laws, background checks being expanded, simple things you would think there could be some common ground on, but things that might not have done anything to stop these particular massacres we ve seen in the last few days. the more expansive measures that might have done something to stop those particular shooting rampages are off the table as far as republicans are concerned right now. i think you re right. we may see some sort of common ground, but it won t necessarily be on the kind of expanive measures that polls show a lot of americans support. we sound like a broken record, but those issues, universal background checks, red flag laws, overwhelmingly popular among the american ....
