Shirdi Sai Electricals: Shirdi Sai Electricals makes Rs 15k-cr initial investment to set up solar cell to module unit

Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited is investing Rs 15,000 crore to build a solar cell to module manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The project, under the government s PLI scheme, includes 5 GW each of module, cell, wafer, and ingot capacities, with an additional 5 GW for glass. Once completed by 2028, it will be the world s first fully integrated quartz-to-module plant, creating 32,000 jobs. Established in 1994, SSEL Group has grown to become India s largest transformer manufacturing company, also involved in transmission and green energy projects.
