Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority has opened two main bridges and a tunnel, totaling 2325 meters in length, and capable of handling 27,200 vehicles per hour, as part of the Falcon Intersection development project.
The reopening of the tunnel will enhance the road capacity along the Shindagha Corridor by 3,000 vehicles per hour, bringing the road total capacity to 15,000 vehicles per hour.
Dubai has announced the opening of Infinity Bridge, a key component of the Al Shindagha Corridor Project, built at an investment of AED5.3 billion ($1.4 billion). It features a combined 3-m-wide track and can accommodate 24,000 vehicles per hour.
