Only two regions involving northeast Georgia area teams have yet to crown champions. And a pair of area teams can win both with wins on the final week of the regular season.
Week 6 could be a pivotal week for several area teams already involved in region play. Meanwhile, three more regions 8-5A, 7-3A, and GAPPS 11-man all open their region schedules this week with some critical matchups.
Several Northeast Georgia-area teams again face a make-or-break week while others can lock down playoff spots with some huge games on tap Thursday and Friday.
As expected, region playoff races around the area are starting to heat up and Week 8 will offer some huge matchups across the board with playoff implications aplenty.
