A longtime sheriff s deputy recently was honored for more than 30 years of service to the people of Vermilion Parish.
Deputy David Trahan was recognized by Vermilion Sheriff Mike Couvillon upon the occasion of his retirement.
David always had a desire to work in law enforcement, and while working for South Central Bell he began that journey of a long successful career under Sheriff Ray Lemaire in 1989 as a reserve deputy. ....
