A Christchurch man has been jailed for his role in a fatal stabbing he had hoped would be his ticket to becoming a patched member of the Nomads gang.
Justin Richard Burke, 32, was sentenced at the High Court in Christchurch on Wednesday to five years and two months’ imprisonment.
In November, Burke was convicted for manslaughter for his role in the death of Shayne George Heappey at a house in Russley, Christchurch, on December 8, 2018. ....
