A kind and giving person who always thought of others before herself has gone to heaven. Dorothy Ann (Cook) Stone, 89, died April 2, 2021, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, her adopted city of 64 years.
A visitation for family and friends is Friday, April 9, 10 a.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Masks are required. She will be interred in the Sheridan Cemetery near Grinnell. Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Dorothy and her family.
