CAPTAIN Sir Tom Moore has been hailed a hero and true inspiration as people across Winsford pay tribute. The World War Two veteran who sadly died yesterday captured the hearts of the nation after raising £32 million for the NHS after walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday. Winsford family funeral firm Fowles Funeral Services opened a book of condolence on their Facebook page and has been inundated with beautiful tributes. Funeral director Dave Fowles said: Captain Tom touched the hearts of people he never met.
